5 DIY Face Masks

What better way to take care of your skin than at home? Pampering yourself shouldn’t be looked upon as bad, actually, a regular skin pampering is a must for all.

I give you five DIY face masks using common kitchen ingredients:

1. Honey
Known as the most nourishing skin care ingredient, honey is used in its raw form as it naturally moisturizes and helps improve stubborn skin conditions.

2. Lemon
Known for detoxing your body and balance your internal PH. The citric acid helps rejuvenate your top layer of skin and gives it a fresh and vibrant glow.

3. Oats
Used as a breakfast staple, oats are effective at soothing dry, itchy or irritated skin conditions. They also help in acne breakouts as your skin is exfoliated and the pores are unclogged.

4. Cinnamon
Cinnamon boosts your metabolism and helps regulate blood sugar level. It acts as a stimulator of blood flow thus making your skin look awake and rejuvenated. Mix it with honey, it helps for many skin problems.

5. Eggs and Coffee
As weird as it might sound these two ingredients mixed together can truly render your skin nourished and revived. Coffee is a natural facial scrub and adding eggs to it helps as a mask.

With numerous masks available on the market, homemade face masks are a creative way to achieve a healthier skin!
