Everything You Should Know About Facial Cleansing

The skin, like our whole body, needs you to pay attention to it and keep it healthy. Impurities, pollution and the very fact that our body generates can take life away from our skin, especially from our skin’s face. To counteract this and protect and keep our face healthy there are several products and treatments. The best known is deep facial cleansing, which should be done in beauty salons and spas.

But there are also simpler facial cleansing procedures that you can do in your own home with natural products that you will find in your own kitchen.

In this blog we will talk about cleansing and we will give you three recipes that you can use.

What is Facial Cleansing?

Facial cleansing is an essential routine to maintain the hygiene of the facial skin. Dirt and environmental pollution, makeup and even stress are some factors that cause the skin to accumulate dirt and lose vitality, freshness and luminosity.

To keep it clean, the first thing you need to identify is what type of skin you have on your face. There are 3 types:

1) dry skin: If you have dry skin, you may have a constant feeling of tightness on your skin, especially after bathing or swimming. Additionally, dry skin looks and feels rough, causes itching, fine lines or cracks, and causes a dull or dull complexion, even with red patches on the skin.

2) oily skin: For oily skin you usually have many blackheads or “pimples”. It also occurs when you see shine all over your face, your pores look very dilated and wide, or you notice an uneven, non-uniform texture.

3) combination skin: Combination skin is a combination of the previous two. You can identify it if on your nose, forehead and chin you present bright areas characteristic of oily skin (in the so-called T zone). Also on the cheeks and on the temple you find a coarse texture, a dry skin. In this skin, enlarged pores predominate on the face.

Homemade Facial Cleansing

Once you know what your skin type is, you can prepare homemade masks with natural products to perform a simple facial cleansing yourself, but that will give you many benefits.

Mask for Dry Skin

You only need the following ingredients: 1 ripe banana, 1 tablespoon of honey, and 1 tablespoon of natural yogurt.

Directions: You should put all the ingredients in the blender and blend until you have a creamy mixture. Once the mixture is ready, it should be placed on the face with circular movements and let it act for 15 minutes. Once this time is over, the mask should be removed with plenty of water. Subsequently, apply sunscreen cream.

Mask for Oily Skin

You only need the following ingredients: ½ red apple, ½ cucumber, 1 egg white and 2 drops of lemon.

Directions: You should mix all the ingredients in a blender until you have a creamy mixture. Once the mixture is ready, it should be left to rest for 2 hours. Once this time has passed, it should be applied all over the face, neck, and décolleté, with circular movements. When removing this mask, it should be done with plenty of cold water since lemon is photosensitive and can cause spots on the skin. Subsequently, apply cream and sunscreen.

Mask for Combination Skin

You only need the following ingredients: ½ cucumber and 1 tablespoon of water.

Directions: You must liquefy the cucumber along with the water. Once the mixture is ready, it should be placed all over your face. Leave it for 20 minutes and remove it with cold water. Subsequently, apply cream and sunscreen.

After Cleansing

It is extremely important that once the cleaning is finished, you can use a sunscreen every day. The skin needs to be relaxed and the sun’s rays are very harmful on freshly cleansed skin.

Regardless of whether summer or winter, using sun protection is very important. Even when you’re in front of your computer, for example, the screen generates rays that can be harmful.

You should also know that when working with the skin of the face, it is likely that reddish areas may remain, which with the hours will go away. If it happens to you, don’t worry, it’s normal.

In the same way, before applying any of these masks that we recommend here, be sure or sure that you are not allergic or allergic to any of the ingredients of the masks. It prevents any affectation that an allergy could generate.
