Not everyone gets makeup as much as other people do and sometimes we tend to make more mistakes than actually caring about our skin. We may take hours and hours to get the right beauty routine that will be apt for our skin type. Those struggling hours and yet nothing comes out as we’ve been expecting. We hate to admit it but we do make a lot of beauty mistakes we are not proud of. So to know where we tend to make more mistakes, here is a blog that will aid you!

  • Washing Your Face – When it comes to washing your face, here are some easy steps to follow in order to get clean and fresh looking skin. A lot of people tend to wash their face twice a day. Consider just washing your face once a day to keep some of the moisture in. Use a cleanser to remove makeup and any dirt or excess oil from your face. Follow up with a toner to remove any tricky makeup or dirt and tighten your pores. And lastly, use a moisturizer to make your skin feel smooth.
  • Washing Your Hair – Washing your hair is a routine that people don’t always follow guidelines for. First of all, your hair doesn’t need to be washed everyday. You need to keep some of the original oils in your hair, and color treated hair fades a lot faster if washed daily. As for the washing steps: Lather the shampoo in your hands first and then massage the shampoo into your roots, no hard scrubbing is needed for the rest of your hair. Rinse with cool to cold water for best results. Apply conditioner to the ends and length of your hair, not as important for the roots, and leave it in for 3-5 minutes as the bottle says.
  • Drying Your Hair – Drying your hair, using a blow dryer all the time isn’t very healthy for it. A popular trick these days is to braid your hair before going to sleep and unbraid it in the morning. This will reveal gorgeous beach waves desired by many. Leaving your hair a bit damp as you braid it allows for a better chance for your hair to dry into the wavy style. It preserves a blow out with overnight twisted braids is another trick that works well
  • No CTM Routine – There is three skin care routine that you should be doing everyday and it is kind of the holy grail of beauty. CTM- Cleansing, Toning, and Moisturizing, these are a must for healthy and glowing skin. If you are somehow like me and laze out in doing so, then you can use rose, which has both cleansing and toning properties. This routine should be undertaken before you go to bed.
